It allows them to address ‘fixable’ issues quickly, and they highlight any larger issues with potential buyers. It can also help them to differentiate their property from others in a competitive market, and can allow for a smooth sale and settlement process.

If you as a buyer are utilising your seller pest and building report, ensure that you pay for it. This will mean that you own the report, along with the insurances that the Pest and Building inspector has will cover you.
